Have you lost your gallbladder?

Had your gallbladder removed?? If so, I strongly recommend you take some form of Ox bile with your meals. I like this one from Biotics, but there are others out there.

Why? Your gallbladder stores bile. When you eat food that has fat in it, your body sends a signal to the gallbladder to send bile to the small intestine to break down that fat into its usable form; fatty acids.

Without a gallbladder, the liver sends bile directly to the small intestines in a continuous drip. Most of the time, this drip is not enough to properly break down your fats.

Many people who have had their gallbladder removed experience diarrhea, or loose floating stool due to fats not being absorbed. Instead they are just passing through the colon and into the toilet.

Absorption of good quality fats are essential to the body in so many ways. Fatty acids are the building blocks for our cell membranes and hormones, they are required for the absorption of vitamins A,D,E, and K, they supply energy, and are required for the adequate use of protein.

Ox bile, taken with meals will supply the body with enough bile to break those fats down properly and supply your body with the nutrients it needs 🙂
